Regent Windows is wholly based in Cheltenham and despite the best efforts of the recession, continues to manufacture and install doors (including bifold doors), as well as windows and conservatories. We also provide a glass cut while you wait service (so long as you don't pop in after 1:15pm on Friday when you will be trampled flat by the weekend exodus).
As Summer approaches, behind a wall of rain, we are as busy as ever replacing tired front doors, misty sealed units, broken mirrors and replacing countless windows with brand, spanking new ones. As well as this we are installing sliding patio doors, bi-folding doors and French doors, not to mention single doors (with or without cat-flap!) We have already finished a number of conservatories in 2012 (for super-happy customers!); and at the moment we're having a bit of a run on slimline Aluminium windows. We're doing a glass balustrade (balcony), glass banisters and lantern roof right now (have a look at some of these on Facebook). For those of you with a keen DIY streak, we can make and supply these for you to install yourselves. We work in PVCu and Aluminium, sourced from market-leading companies in the UK. Everything we do is manufactured and assembled in our on-site factory, alongside our business offices on the Kingsditch Trading Estate in Cheltenham.
Our windows are also very 'Green', we use lead-free PVCu profiles and glaze them with the latest thermal glass. We now use the latest EPDM foam spacer bar; imaginatively named the 'Super Spacer', which reduces condensation, noise levels and heat loss.
We have been doing work in Cheltenham and across Gloucestershire since 1994. We work with architects, specifiers, builders, designers and DIY-ers. If you've not heard of us, that's our fault; we've been too busy making doors and windows to do a a proper website. Until now. Look, we've got a blog too.
One of our customers was so happy with the work we did for him and his girlfriend that he joined the company. He thinks we should be telling more people about what we do, since he reckons we do it better than a lot of the others out there. We didn't rip him off, either.
